HRECOS Stations
HRECOS monitoring stations are positioned at 17 sites along the Hudson and Mohawk rivers. Each station is equipped with sensors that take the pulse of water quality and/or weather every 15 minutes, with most stations operating year-round. Remote telemetry transmits real-time data to our website. Three of the HRECOS Water Quality Stations are located along an 87 mile stretch of the Mohawk river from Ilion to Cohoes. Thirteen of the stations are located along a 145 mile stretch of the Hudson River from Albany to New York City. One station is located in Newark Bay.
Current Conditions
All HRECOS observing stations take the pulse of water quality parameters such as dissolved oxygen and pH; eight also track weather conditions such as water level and temperature.

Historic Conditions
